Mahogany Girls

Mahogany Girls Inc. ™ ( a division of Majestic Divas Social Club Inc.) is a volunteer led nonprofit organization, which aims to empower African American girls between the ages of 11-17, to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their potential. Through mentoring, self enrichment activities, promotion of self-esteem, implementation of social graces and the development of cultural awareness our vision is to not only mentor young girls, but also is to teach young girls to look inside of themselves to develop the inner strength, character, and skills that it takes to be a true leader.

The mission of Mahogany Girls, Inc. is to empower youth through positive relationships while promoting excellence in mind, body, and spirit. Mahogany Girls, Inc. provides Youth Empowerment Workshops and Focus Group Sessions with other private and public community agencies, social services, and local churches.

Our mentoring workshops encourage increased self-investing, responsibility, and promotes the development of strong values and decision-making skills. All workshops and group session mentor's collectively brings over 20 years of professional skills, knowledge and experiences in helping girls stay focus while paving the road to womanhood.

MG mentoring program activities include group discussions, empowerment workshops, creative writing, crafts, and guest speakers from our community, in addition to, one –on- one mentoring relationships. Mentees will learn to value the above mentioned objectives along with education, community involvement, and respect for themselves and others.

We offer Life Skill Coaching, Youth Empowerment Workshops, Focus Group Sessions, and One-On-One mentoring in:
